It all started with a BIG ole Marlin!

Hi and welcome! I’m McCallee Watson, the owner and founder of Biggy Fish.

Biggy Fish started with a simple idea and a plan that didn’t quite work out. After graduating from Wofford College, I moved to the German Alps with one of my best friends, Drake. We spent 15 months traveling, making memories, and talking about eventually moving back home to South Carolina (Charleston, to be exact).

Drake always talked about a marlin she had caught and dreamed of hanging. When the time came, the option was just not possible. So I made her a deal,I’d paint her a big fish, but it definitely would not be a marlin.

The next day, we dug through the sale pile at Lowe’s and found a huge, beat-up piece of wood. Shout out Rodney and LaTasha. That’s where the very first Biggy Fish came to life.

What started as a joke turned into a side hustle, and hopefully soon to be something much bigger. Turns out, people wanted the fish just as much as we did.

Biggy Fish is all about rolling with change, taking chances, and finding something good when plans fall apart. Let’s see where this takes us!
